Hi, I’m Phil, creator of this site, and a full time Infrastructure and Security Manager in the Hospitality industry living in the UK.
I have been working in the IT industry full time for over twenty years. I spent my early career as a first line Service Desk Analyst working my way up through various 2nd line, 3rd line, System Administration and Management positions.
Over the years I have earned many industry certifications including an MCSE, CCNA and ITIL.
I originally created this site to learn PHP and it initially acted as my own personal knowledge base. But it has grown to help tens of thousands of people a month.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my two boys and my wife. During my downtime I also love to cycle and I’m into Sci-Fi, comics, and many other pursuits that some may call “Geeky”
