Has anyone noticed that when running the x switch on Windows 2008 when uninstalling a service it uninstalls the code and removes the service from the services panel? This does not happen on XP or 2003.
I can’t say that I have at least not yet, but I thought msiexec /x should always uninstall everything that the installer package installed including services etc.
Maybe another Microsoft "feature"
P.s.
Thanks for posting I was getting lonely here 🙂
